WTZQ to broadcast fireworks soundtrack
The Hendersonville fireworks show starts at dark tonight preceded by a special Music On Main Street Fourth of July Concert featuring West Sound and a patriotic tribute show. The show is at the Visitor Center, 201 S. Main St.
The Independence Day fireworks blast off at dark. Fireworks can be viewed from downtown Hendersonville and the south side of town near the intersection of Greenville and Spartanburg highways. Unlike in years past, the fireworks show won't be visible from Jackson Park. A large red balloon signifies visibility of the fireworks show. If you can see the Big Red Balloon you can see the fireworks.
Tune your radios to 95.3 FM or 1600-AM to listen to WTZQ's broadcast of a patriotic soundtrack during the city's fireworks display. WTZQ will play patriotic favorites from 9 till 10pm as Hendersonville celebrates Independence Day.
