Detectives charge Florida man with felony solicitation of a child

Detectives with the Henderson County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force while conducting undercover operations on Oct. 15 charged a 61-year-old Florida man with trying to solicit a child via the internet.

Leonardo Jorge Maiman, of Jacksonville, was charged with Felony Solicitation of a Child by a Computer. Maiman was arrested after meeting undercover detectives in Hendersonville and was jailed in the Henderson County Detention Facility. He was released after posting a $30,000.00 secured bond.
