A top adviser for the governor's Hurricane Helene recovery efforts and North Carolina's chief industry recruiter will keynote the 2026 Industrial Executives Forum at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Bo Thomas Auditorium at Blue Ridge Community College, the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development announced.
Attendees of the free forum can start their morning with a light breakfast and networking before diving into a dynamic program focused on the forces shaping North Carolina’s industrial economy.
Sharon Decker, senior advisor for long-term recovery of GROW NC — the Governor’s Recovery Office for Western North Carolina — will offer a regional perspective, highlighting strategies to strengthen communities, foster collaboration and support long-term economic growth. Christopher Chung, CEO of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, will share insights on statewide economic trends, business recruitment activity and why North Carolina continues to be a top state for business.
