Sweet Thangs opens on Seventh Avenue

Sweet Thangs Cakes & Bakes is now open on Seventh Avenue, serving a variety of baked goods and other treats.

A couple dozen people were on hand to taste the goodies on Thursday night when the Fletcher Area Business Association held a business hours gathering. The bakery and ice cream shop is owned by Terry Young, a 1986 graduate of Hendersonville High School and U.S. Army veteran of Desert Storm. He plans a grand opening on the Fourth of July. Besides cheesecake, the shop  serves Hershey’s ice cream, frozen yogurt, brownies, cookies and cupcakes.
