WLOS among stations not carrying Jimmy Kimmel show

Looking forward to Jimmy Kimmel's return tonight?

You're out of luck at least as far as local broadcast or cable goes. WLOS won't be carrying it. The Asheville station is one of nearly 70 ABC affiliate stations owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group or Nexstar Media Group, USA Today reported.

Sinclair will be "preempting Jimmy Kimmel Live! across our ABC affiliate stations and replacing it with news programming," the company said. "Discussions with ABC are ongoing as we evaluate the show’s potential return."
