Rep. Edwards's Carolina Cruiser coming to Edneyville for constituent service

In keeping with his motto of “First in Constituent Services,” U.S. Rep. Chuck Edwards will send his Carolina Cruiser mobile office to Edneyville Community Center, 15 Ida Rogers Drive, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, to help folks with Hurricane Helene recovery issues or questions. District aides will be on hand to answer questions about the disaster and assist with federal agencies. If you can’t stop by mobile office hours and you or someone you know is having problems with FEMA, call 223-FIX-FEMA.   Read Story »

That light shaking you may have felt this morning was a magnitude 4.1 earthquake near Greenback, Tennessee, in Blount County 29 miles south of Knoxville. The tremblor happened at 9:04 a.m., the U.S. Geological Survey reported.   Read Story »
