Cooper outlines plans for spending federal Covid relief money

Gov. Roy Cooper on Thursday outlined a plan for allocating federal Covid-19 relief funds for immediate needs and investing state resources to help North Carolina communities build back as the state turns the corner on the pandemic, including $2 billion to help schools reopen, $700 million for more vaccines and Covid testing, $546 million for rental assistance and $323 million for roads and airports.
