Pardee UNC Health Care has launched a collection drive to help those affected by Tropical Storm Fred.
The items collected will go to serve the communities in Haywood and Transylvania counties that were impacted by flooding from the storm.
Pardee is asking for unused, empty spray bottles, unopened Clorox, and unopened antibacterial wipes. Items can be dropped off 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Pardee Hospital Foundation, 561 Fleming St.
“So many of our community members are suffering from the effects of Tropical Storm Fred and are in need of help,” said Jay Kirby, president and CEO, Pardee UNC Health Care. “This is an opportunity for us to come together to do what we can to support our community in their time of need.”
