Mills River man charged with 29 counts of child exploitation

MILLS RIVER — A 59-year-old Mills River man was charged with 29 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after law officers pursued information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Henderson County Sheriff's Office said.

The sheriff's special victims vnit recently received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the dissemination of material related to child sexual abuse. Upon further investigation by our detectives, it was determined the suspect was living Mills River. On Thursday a search warrant was served at the suspect’s residence and several electronic devices were seized for further investigation.

Charged with 29 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, Nathan Scott Hall was jailed at the Henderson County Detention Center on a $232,000 bond.
