Breedlove's Deli adding family-style dinners, Sunday brunch

Breedlove's Deli, which has won a loyal customer base in the year since it opened on Chadwick Avenue, is adding family-style dining Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights plus a family-style brunch on Sundays.

Mike and Jenny Breedlove opened the deli and donut shop on March 5, 2021 a year after the Covid-19 pandemic had completely vanished. Starting on Tuesday, May 24, Breedlove's Deli will become  Breedlove's Family Restaurant and transition into a full-service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Take-out will be available for breakfast and lunch only.) The new hours are:

• 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday- Saturday, serving breakfast and lunch
• 5-9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, serving family style dinners
• 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Sunday, serving family style brunch.

At one-price per person, the family-style meals will include beverage, two entrees, five sides, soup or salad, biscuits and dessert. All food will be plated for the table on platters and bowls. Menus will change weekly to offer a variety of Southern style favorites – just like, the couple says, eating at Grandma’s house. Sunday brunch will be served the same way – one price gets you everything! Price does not include beer and wine, tax or tip. Live music will be provided on the climate controlled screened porch on some Friday and Saturday nights.
