Interested in parking permit? City is hosting meetings

The city of Hendersonville is hosting parking permit interest meetings and informational sessions on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the City Operations Center at 305 Williams St.

The first session at 4:30 p.m. is for current downtown Hendersonville parking permit holders. The second session at 5:15 p.m. is for future permit holders and those who want to learn more about permits and downtown parking.

To address the demand for downtown on-street and off-street parking, the construction of a four-level parking deck and comprehensive parking management update is under way downtown. When the deck opens next year, Main Street and avenues from Church to King will be metered and the permit system will be updated.

The parking permit interest meeting sessions will allow current and prospective permit holders to receive information on the permit structure, ask questions, and indicate interest in reserving a 2023 parking permit. For more information visit www.hvlnc.gov/parking202.
