Fletcher hosts Polar Bear 5k on Jan. 28

Fletcher Parks & Recreation will host the 2023 Hunter Subaru Polar Bear 5k run at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, on the greenway trails at Bill Moore Community Park.

Registration is $25 and includes a winter running cap for the first 100 runners to sign up. Register at Fletcher Parks & Recreation website via Rec Desk. Sponsors include Borg Warner & First Citizens (hot cocoa mugs), Rinehart Racing, Foot Rx Running & Fleet Feet Sports. The course is flat and fast and a great race to start your 2023 running year. All proceeds will go to the Fletcher Park Development fund for future park improvements.
