Art League opens new exhibit space

The Art League of Henderson County announced the opening of its new gallery, Art Place Studio, which will house 23 studio artists showing a variety of media ranging from oil, acrylic, mixed media, watercolor, clay, encaustic, wood, metal, glass, fiber and more.

In addition to the working studios, the studio at 2015 Asheville Highway includes a large workshop and event space and a warehouse” style studio for “hot and messy” artists and workshops. All 23 artists will be in their studios at work 11 a.m.-4 p.m. June 3-4.
