Blustery deep freeze could bring -15 wind chill

The National Weather Service warned we could see wind chill values as low as minus-15 when a cold front plunges the area into a blustery deep freeze this weeekend.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors, make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.

The forecast called for a low around 12 overnight Friday with wind chill as low as zero, northwest wind 15-18 mph and gusts as high as 28 mph. The high Saturday should be near 25. Early Sunday a low around 10 was expectged with a wind chill values as low as -6, north-northwest wind 16-20 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. The high climbs to around 38 under sunny skies.
