Saluda Arts Festival calls for artists, volunteers and sponsors

The 20th annual Saluda Arts Festival, which takes place Saturday, May 17, in historic downtown Saluda, is issuing a call for artists to show exhibitors work and for volunteers and sponsors to support the event.

The festival will transform downtown Saluda into a vibrant celebration of the arts, featuring an impressive selection of handcrafted works from talented local and regional artists. Drawing thousands of visitors each year, the family-friendly arts show promises something for everyone, with live music across multiple venues, a Children’s Art Activity Tent supported by the Saluda Fund of the Polk County Community Foundation and Saluda’s signature warm hospitality.

“This 20th anniversary is a tribute to the incredible talent of our artists and the unwavering dedication of the volunteers who make this event possible,” said Missy Orr, chair of the Saluda Arts Festival. “In light of the financial challenges Hurricane Helene brought to Western North Carolina, especially for the region’s artists, we’re committed to making this year extra special. We dedicate this festival to all the artists, studios, and galleries who have faced and continue to overcome Helene’s challenges.”

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a truly special day celebrating the arts, resilience, and the enduring spirit of Saluda.
