Days of Caring is Friday, Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Saturday

Nearly 300 local volunteers will tackle maintenance, improvement and housekeeping projects at 26 nonprofit locations throughout Henderson County on Friday, and then the next day another group of volunteers will assist with the National Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, the largest single-day food drive in the nation.

Presented by United Way of Henderson County, Days of Caring is an annual opportunity for volunteers to provide hands-on support by engaging in activities that range from sanding and painting, gardening and mulching, repair and maintenance, to collecting and sorting food donations for local pantries.
