Re-enactor to speak at GOP club on Revolutionary War

Revolutionary War re-enactor Don Hendrix will speak at the Henderson County Republican Men’s Club breakfast meeting on the issues confronting the Patriots from the 1760s to 1776 and what caused them to revolt against the king and fight the War for Independence. 

The meeting is at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at the American Legion Post 77, 216 Fourth Ave. W. Register by noon Monday, July 7, by emailing noirs@aol.com or calling 828-329-4971. Breakfast buffet is $13 cash, payable at the door.
