First Spinx opens on Asheville Highway at I-26

A new Spinx gas station-convenience store on Asheville Highway opened today, the first of three the Greenville, S.C.-based company plans in Henderson County.
 
The Spinx Co., which has more than 90 locations across the Carolinas, celebrated the grand opening of the store at 6024 Asheville Highway with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday morning. A second Spinx is under construction on Upward Road; the company has posted a coming-soon sign on property it bought on Four Seasons Boulevard near Mud Creek.
 
“We are excited to continue expanding in Western North Carolina and bring the full Spinx experience to the Hendersonville community,” said Steve Spinks, CEO and president of company. “At Spinx, we are committed to providing exceptional customer service, quality food and a welcoming environment for all guests. This new location reflects our dedication to serving our communities with convenience and care.”
