Joyriders damaging golf course

A driver was charged with trespassing and damaging property after flipping his car at the Etowah Valley Golf & Resort.

Joyriders are damaging the Etowah Valley golf course property.

On Sunday night, July 12, Etowah Valley Golf & Resort Security found a vehicle flipped on its roof in the fairway of the first hole of the North Course.

Joshua Kimsey Hall, 17, of Hendersonville, was charged on Saturday with misdemeanor trespassing on private property and misdemeanor injury to real property. Management of the Etowah Valley Golf & Resort said this is an ongoing and expensive problem they must contend with when joyriders leave ruts and skidmarks on greens and fairways. The damage was more than $1000. Hall  was released under a $1,000 bond.
