Missing girl is safely returned to DSS custody

A 15-year-old Hendersonville girl who was reported missing last week has been found and is safely back in the custody of the DSS, the Henderson County Sheriff's Office said.

The sheriff's office and the Department of Social Services last week said that Emily Haydock failed to return to a facility where she was living in Charlotte on Dec. 1. She was believed to be back in the Hendersonville or Asheville area.
