Pardee surgeons relocate to Health Sciences Center

Pardee Surgical Associates has relocated to the new Health Sciences Center, Pardee Hospital announced Thursday.

Physicians and staff began seeing patients in the new space on Tuesday, Jan. 3. The new location allows surgeons to work more closely with oncologists and nurses at the Cancer Center at Pardee and offers thoughtfully designed new exam and meeting rooms for patients and their families. The 100,000-square-foot building is located adjacent to Pardee Hospital’s campus and houses the new Cancer Center, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, cancer navigation, and cancer research.

“The team at Pardee Surgical Associates has always worked closely with the oncologists and staff at the Cancer Center at Pardee,” James M. Kirby, II, president and CEO of Pardee Hospital, said in a news release. “By bringing these practices together under one roof, we will be able to offer patients a stronger continuity of care and more convenient access to their providers — all in a beautifully designed new building.”

In addition to Pardee Surgical Associates, the Health Sciences Building is home to existing student programs in allied health care for both Blue Ridge Community College and Wingate University, as well as the Wingate pharmacy and physician assistant programs. Thanks to this new partnership, students will have access to unique training opportunities with Pardee. The Health Sciences Building is a collaborative partnership between Henderson County, the City of Hendersonville, Pardee Hospital, Blue Ridge Community College and Wingate University.
