County authorizes greenway extension study

Henderson County commissioners on Monday authorized a local match as part of a $120,000 greenway extension study.
The county agreed to put up $24,000 as a required local match of grants of $56,000 and $40,000 to study extending the greenway north from Berkeley Park to Westfedlt Park and south from Jackson Park to Blue Ridge Community College and potentially the Park at Flat Rock.
