Community Foundation welcomes new board members

The Community Foundation of Henderson County received new contributions in the amount of $2.2 million and issued grants worth $2.3 million in the fiscal year ending June 30, foundation CEO McCray Benson told board members, donors and friends of the foundation during an annual luncheon Wednesday.

 

Benson expressed thanks to Jana Johnson Humleker for her service as board chair from 2010-2012. Randy Romeo, a Hendersonville attorney, was introduced as the newly installed board chair for a two-year term ending June 30, 2014. New additions to the board include Les Boyd, David Marshall, Charley Rogers and Kaye Youngblood.
