Community Foundation elects new leaders

The Community Foundation of Henderson County elected four new members to its board of directors.


The new members of the organizations are Les Boyd, third generation owner of Boyd Chevrolet Cadillac Buick; David Marshall, Parish Administrator of St. James Episcopal Church; Charley Rogers, retired Technical Education director with IBM; and Kaye Youngblood, a Hendersonville High School social studies teacher.

 

The Community Foundation also recognizes three directors whose service on the board ended June 30: Doug Arney, Gus Campano and Kristin Huntley. "The Community Foundation is deeply grateful for the invaluable service each of these members brings to our board, and our community," the organization said in a news release.
The elected officers of the Community Foundation for fiscal year 2012-2013 are Randy Romeo, Chairperson; John Bell, Vice-Chairperson; Steve Greene, Treasurer; George Bond, Secretary; Vaughan Matthews, Assistant Secretary; Lauretta Sthreshley, Assistant Secretary; and Jana Humleker, Past Chairperson.
