MILLS RIVER — Incumbent Roger Snyder led all candidates in the race for two seats on the Mills River Town Council, capturing 24.1% of the vote, and challenger Randy Austin edged incumbent Wayne Carland by 25 votes to win a seat on the council. Mark Case had 19.9% of the vote and John Case won 9.8%.
