Cooper extends Phase 2 restrictions, orders face masks statewide

Gov. Roy Cooper paused the "Safer at Home" phase 2 restrictions and ordered face masks in public spaces statewide in an effort to flatten what he and public health officials described as a concerning upward trend of new cases and hospitalizations.
