Public libraries reopen with limited services

All branches of the Henderson County Public Library are reopen to the public with limited hours of operation and new procedures in place to protect the health of staff and visitors.

 

Available services will include 30-minute in-library browsing and Wi-Fi use, 1-hour computer sessions, public copier and printing access and socially distanced staff assistance. Because of  limited capacity at all locations, visitors may experience a wait to enter the building.

Services that remain will unavailable are magazine and newspaper access, study rooms, meeting spaces and public seating.

Visitors will be required to follow the “Three Ws” as outlined by the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services – WEAR a cloth face covering; WAIT in line at least six feet away from others, and WASH hands frequently or use hand sanitizer. Individuals experiencing symptoms of illness are asked to postpone their visit. Visit the library website here or call the Main Library at 828-697-4725 for more information.
