Dorothy Jannette Redden Corn

Dorothy Jannette Redden Corn, daughter of the late Quay Redden
and Ruby Redden Roller went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 19,
2016.

She was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and member of
Friendship Baptist Church in Saluda. She was preceded in death by her
husband of 66 years, Albert Corn. Two brothers, Cecil and Ken Redden, a
daughter in law, Sharon Levi Corn.. She is survived by one sister Gail
Redden Keller. She is survived by seven sister- in- laws, Shirley
Redden, Ruth Corn, Mary Joyce Corn, Elizabeth Bradley, Betty
Beddingfield, Margaret Holbert and one brother- in- law Bill Holbert.
Jannette had five sons, and one daughter. Hogan Corn and wife Joyce.
Jonathan Corn and wife Gidget, Chris Corn, Greg Corn and wife Susie, Jan
Corn and wife Linda and Karen Corn Jones and husband Mark. She has
fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Jannette spent most of her time raising her six children and
found great joy in doing so. She was a wonderful cook and loved to
can. Proverbs 31 says "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she
can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful
instructions is on her tongue...her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also and he praises her."

A visitation will be held for the family on Tuesday, August 23,
2016 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Tuxedo First Baptist Church
fellowship building.
