Chloe Bruna Boehm, 93

Chloe Bruna Boehm, 93, of Hendersonville passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Hendersonville Health and Rehab Center in Flat Rock.
Born in Ellensburg, WA to the late Reinhold August and Emma Alice Kuhnhausen Fenske on November 13, 1923. Chloe was the wife of Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Boehm who passed away in 2003, and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Wille.
Chloe was a member of the Detroit Society of Women Painters and Sculptors, the Art League of Henderson County, and Art Venture. Her art work was displayed in many galleries including the Detroit Institute of Arts. She won awards for her works both in Michigan and North Carolina. Her passion for creating art was life-long. In addition to art, she enjoyed music and traveling. She was an active member of Living Savior Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed the children of the congregation.
Chloe is survived by her daughters, Carol Judith Boehm; Cynthia Laurel Wille (Mark) and their son, Tom Wille; Kathleen Louise Boehm and her son, Michael Byrne; and Ellen Andrea Anderson (Larry) and their children, Evan, Owen and Lauren; brother, Paul Fenske; and sister, Marcia Steward (Gene).
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, June 10, 2017 at Living Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Kurbis officiating. A reception will follow.
