Elizabeth "Beth" Ridings Pope, 53, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family, after months of health complications resulting from a severe fall.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Lib and John McLeod Jr, and father, Randall Keith Ridings.
She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 30 years, Timothy Ray Pope, and her beloved mother, Anne McLeod Ridings. Her legacy lives on through her children, Evan Sapp, Hunter Pope, and Lauren Belue. She is also remembered with affection by a wide circle of family and friends, including Catherine Ridings Gilbert and her husband Chip, Elizabeth McLeod Girard, Frank McLeod, Martha McLeod, Blair McLeod McCauley and her husband Joe, Laurie McLeod Bruffy and her husband Tyler, Robin Minhinnett and her husband Curtis, Tere Jeffcoat, Mandi Perry, as well as many other dear relatives and lifelong friends whose lives were touched by her loving spirit.
After attending Hendersonville High School and UNC Greensboro, Beth spent many years living in Spartanburg, SC, where she built a highly successful career as a realtor in the Upstate region. Following a move to the Lexington, NC area, she brought the same drive and charisma to her role as a sales representative at Angler's Choice Marine. Beth had a natural talent for sales and a gift for connecting with people.
Outside of work, Beth embraced life with enthusiasm.
She cherished time spent boating on Lake Murray, vacationing with close friends, and hosting unforgettable gatherings filled with laughter and joy.
Beth was an avid reader and dog lover. She was also a huge sports enthusiast. Whether cheering for the Tar Heels, following racing, enjoying a great tennis match, she watched it all.
Everyone that knew Beth, knew her love.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 22 at 2pm at Hendersonville Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville, NC.
