Robert E. Finney Jr., 82, of Mills River, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at his home.

He retired from the US Air Force.

Surviving is his wife Frances Hayes Finney; three sons Michael Finney, Stephen Finney, and Kevin Finney; and six grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 9, at Fanning Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5490 Old Haywood Road, Mills River.
