William Cyril Repetto, Jr.

William Cyril Repetto, Jr., 77, of Hendersonville died on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at the Elizabeth House.

A native of Ridgefield, N.J., he was born on June 19, 1936, to the late William Repetto, Sr. and Mary Ellen Smith Repetto.

A graduate of Columbia University he worked as advertising director of Hayden Publishing Company before retiring as publishing director of American Publishing in Philadelphia in 1998. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hendersonville and served his country in the United States Army in the Signal Communication Agency, Camp Zama, Japan.

He is survived by a special friend, Eleanor Meeker of Hendersonville; his four sons, William C. Repetto, III, Andrew J. Repetto, Michael J. Repetto, Vincent F. Repetto all of Philadelphia; his friend, Janet McConnell of Cumming, Ga.; his brother, Bruce E. Repetto of Mountclair, N.J.; and his eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, in the Brunson Chapel at First United Methodist Church, Hendersonville, with Rev. Dan Martin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
