James L. Bishop, 60

James L. Bishop, 60, of Edneyville, died Monday, March 31, 2014, at Mission Hospital following a brief illness.

A native of Madison, Fla., he had been a resident of Henderson County since 1989. He was a co-owner of Blue Ridge Travel Park in Edneyville.

He is survived by his partner of 34 years, Ronald Hines; a sister Linda Keillor of Tallahassee, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

No services are planned.
