McDonald to kick off campaign Thursday

The Committee to Elect Sheriff Charlie McDonald will formally kick off McDonald's election campaign at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Mountain Lodge, 42 McMurray Road.

The event will feature food and refreshments, live music and an opportunity for the Sheriff's supporters to meet with him personally. McDonald will announce his candidacy at 6:30 p.m.

The event is open to the public. All are invited, the McDonald campaign said.
