Candidates set runoff election watch

FLETCHER — NC 11th congressional district candidates Mark Meadows and Vance Patterson have set their locations for runoff returns watching with supporters.

Meadows will be at the Hampton Inn in Fletcher off Airport Road across from the Target shopping center.

"We will gather in the ballroom starting after the polls close at 7:30.  We will have coffee, tea and some light snacks in the ballroom," the campaign said.

Patterson will be at his headquarters at 215 Avery Street in his hometown of Morganton.

"We'll be working until the polls close," he said. "We'll probably get there an hour after that."
