Eggs Up Grill opens on Spartanburg Highway

Eggs Up Grill, which serves breakfast, brunch and lunch seven days a week, opened Wednesday at 637 Spartanburg Highway next to Planet Fitness.

“Hendersonville is thriving and has always been a second home for me, and now I want Eggs Up Grill to be everyone’s hometown restaurant away from home,” franchise owner Daniel Fort said. “The tight-knit community and neighborly feel of Hendersonville is a perfect complement to Eggs Up Grill as we embody the values of great food, community service, family and hospitality.”

The space features a light, bright and cheery atmosphere, designed to make guests comfortable and feel at home.

Eggs Up Grill traces its roots to Pawleys Island, S.C., where it was founded in 1997 with a menu featuring classic, All-American dishes, along with twists on traditional favorites. The restaurant takes pride in perfectly cooking fresh, hand-cracked eggs 14 different ways. Menu categories include made-to-order omelets and benedicts, pancakes, waffles and breakfast sandwiches, as well as famous home fries, the Founder’s recipe corned beef hash and buttery, grilled blueberry muffins. Lunch choices include juicy burgers, tasty sandwiches, wraps and salads.

The menu features "cravable bites" — muffin, avocado toast and biscuits and gravy — Founder's Hash & Eggs ($9.99), Southern Staples, two eggs, sausage gravy, home fries or grits ($8.49), Homestead platter, two eggs, four slices of bacon, four pieces of sausage and biscuit with a side of gravy ($9.99), steak and eggs ($11.29); muffin and eggs ($7.99), Slices, Strips & Spuds, cinnamon swirl French toast, bacon and home fries ($8.99) and The Classic, "our No. 1 smile producer," two eggs, bacon or sauage, home fries or grits. The lengthy breakfast menu also includes five breakfast sandwiches, seven omelets plus a build your own, brunch bowls (shrimp and grits, loaded home fry, Southwestern, fruit and yogurt parfait and oatmeal) three eggs benedict dishes and seven pancake and waffle orders. The lunch menu includes four salads, three burgers and six other sandwiches and wraps.

The Hendersonville restaurant will serve guests seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dine-in, online ordering, takeout, catering and delivery options available. A dedicated to-go station allows for easy pick-up for online orders and third-party delivery.
Eggs Up Grill caters events big or small, with a catering menu featuring breakfast favorites like eggs, grits, home fries, biscuits and gravy and muffins. Salads, sandwiches and wraps are available for catered lunch.

The new Eggs Up Grill will be focused on giving back to the community. Fort specifically hopes to work with youth and local school sports, Camp Joy and DuPont State Recreational Forest.

“We are eager to serve and support the Hendersonville community,” said Eggs Up Grill CEO Ricky Richardson. “Expanding into Hendersonville, which still has that small town feeling, is important to our Brand and significant to us because we are neighbors serving neighbors.”
