Turf growers make big donation to Habitat

EDNEYVILLE — Sod Grass Producers International is being hosted today by Turf Mountain Sod on Highway 64.

Everything coming from the fields today will be donated to Henderson County Habitat for Humanity and will be going to the Shuey Knolls subdivision in Edneyville.

 

The sod producers expected to bring two to three tractor trailer loads. This donation to Habitat for Humanity will directly impact the mission to provide quality affordable homes for low income families in Henderson County. Income from sod production benefits Henderson County and the state.
