Senior play will christen 'Tom Orr Stage' at renovated auditorium

The dude cast of "Oklahoma" performs in a dress rehearsal.

Hendersonville High School's Class of 2022 will christen the newly named Tom Orr Stage in the renovated school auditorium with performances of "Oklahoma" through Saturday night.

Carrying on a tradition that dates to the 1920s and includes Orr's run as the school's theater teacher and senior play director, this year's senior class will stage the classic musical four times — 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday. For tickets go to the high school office during school hours or visit the ticket site.
