Pack A Patrol Car School Supply Drive is Tuesday at Walmart

Back to school season is here, which means it’s almost time to say goodbye to sleeping in and staying up late! The sheriff's office SRO's are gearing up to help students head back to class with everything they need to succeed.

"Join us on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot for the Pack A Patrol Car School Supply Drive," the sheriff's office said. "We’re collecting school supplies to support local students and we need your help to fill that patrol car to the top! Bonus: All school supplies collected will be handed out to children later that evening at our National Night Out Event at Jackson Park starting at 5 p.m. So if your kiddos need school supplies, be sure to stop by and join the fun!"
