Loft tour gives glimpse of upstairs downtown

Downtown lofts will be showcased during the 2026 Downtown Loft Tour on Saturday, March 28.

The public can discover what’s behind the doors of some of Hendersonville’s most intriguing downtown spaces during the 2026 Downtown Loft Tour 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 28.

Returning for the first time in 10 years, the loft tour offers the rare opportunity to step inside a selection of beautifully restored and reimagined lofts and downtown residences that showcase the city’s growing spirit of creativity and preservation.

The tour is a collaborative fundraiser co-hosted by the Friends of Downtown Hendersonville and the city’s Historic Preservation Commission. Participants may begin at any tour stop and explore at their own pace, with the full experience expected to take around one to two hours. Funds raised by the event support the promotion, preservation and improvement of Historic Downtown Hendersonville.

Tickets are $35 and must be purchased online in advance, as attendance is limited. Due to the nature of the historic buildings, the tour involves walking and climbing multiple flights of stairs, which may present challenges for individuals with mobility limitations.
