County office to provide veteran survivor benefits information on Thursday

The Henderson County Veterans Services office is holding a workshop on veteran survivor benefits at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the first-floor meeting room of the Hedrick-Rhodes Veterans Center, 900 N. Main St.

A Veterans Services officer will lead a workshop offering clarity on eligibility and application processes for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation, Survivors Pension and VA burial benefits. Contact the Veterans Services office at 828-694-6500 with any questions.
