"Our team works tirelessly day-in and day-out to provide the best possible care for residents,” said Alex Tucker, health care administrator at Carolina Village. “A Deficiency-Free Survey acknowledges the collective effort and success. We’re very proud of our team.”

NCDOH surveys, or annual inspections, ensure that skilled nursing facilities comply with state regulations. Surveys are conducted on a no-notice basis and consist of an examining of these areas: resident care, policies and procedures, medication administration, medical records, kitchen sanitation, staff competencies, dietary needs, safety and equipment, fitness, and adequacy of the community. The survey’s ultimate purpose is to ensure that residents are receiving the highest levels of care and quality of life.

Results of state surveys are available at all skilled nursing facilities. For more information about Carolina Village, visit carolinavillage.com or contact Cheryl Justus, Marketing Director, at 828-233-0602.
