Debbie Roundtree files for District 2 seat

Debbie Roundtree, who has run twice for the Hendersonville City Council, has filed for the District 2 Board of Commissioners seat, assuring a rare Democratic primary for the county board.

Roundtree ran last month for a seat on the City Council, finishing third out of four candidates. She will face retired Buncombe County sheriff's deputy Royce Canty in a March 3 primary.
