Apple Festival concludes with King Apple Parade

The 80th North Carolina Apple Festival concluded on Monday with the King Apple Parade. The parade included Apple Ambassador Haley Marshall and other participants in the apple ambassador scholarship competition.

The 80th North Carolina Apple Festival came to an end Monday with a parade that highlighted Henderson County’s apple industry, its emergency responders and its young people.

A number of politicians and their supporters also turned out for The King Apple parade down Main Street along with businesses and high school bands and cheerleading squads.
The parade concluded with a float featuring Apple Ambassador Haley Marshall and other participants in this year’s scholarship competition.
