Rotary Club invites nonprofits to apply for Impact grants

Four Seasons Rotary Club is inviting nonprofits to apply for Community Impact grants to fund projects that will make Henderson County a better place to live, work and raise a family.

Applications are now available for grants up to $1,500 each that support projects advancing one of Rotary International’s seven areas of focus: Promoting Peace, Fighting Disease, Providing Clean Water/Sanitation/Hygiene, Saving Mothers and Children, Supporting Education, Growing Local Economies and Protecting the Environment. Deadline to apply is Sept. 1. All funds must be used by May 31, 2024.

Any 501(c)3 serving residents of Henderson County is invited to apply by emailing fourseasonsrotary@gmail.com for an application. More information is available at www.fourseasonsrotary.org.

“Each year, Four Seasons Rotary coordinates and hosts the Tour D’Apple bike ride on Labor Day, raising significant funds to support our regular local programs like Four Seasons Rotary Park, Special Needs Sports and scholarships at Blue Ridge Community College,” said Michele Garashi-Ellick, club president. “This year, we want to make an even bigger impact by offering these community grants to local nonprofits looking to expand current programs or implement new ones.”

Garashi-Ellick added that club members hope to build lasting partnerships with the organizations selected in this grant cycle, providing local non-profits with additional volunteers and monetary support.
