Symphony announces seating changes

The Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra (HSO) will make improvements to its practices for seating for season ticket holders for all concerts.

A reworking of the seating arrangement in the HSO's Concert Hall will be in place for the upcoming season  in the fall. Additional aisles will be added to improve access to seats for all concert attendees.

Of particular significance is the introduction of assigned reserved seating for all season ticket holders for the 2012-2013 season. Season ticket holders will be able to pick the seats they prefer and will enjoy those same seats for all concerts throughout the season. This will preclude the need for concert attendees to arrive at the hall early to secure seats they prefer as has been the case in past seasons.

"We continue to be delighted with our move to our Concert Hall at the Blue Ridge Community Colllege,"  HSO President Donna Hastie said. "However, our patrons have consistently expressed their desire for assigned seating for season ticket holders. With our improvements to the seating configuration and the introduction of assigned seating, we are providing two major improvements to the concert going experience."

"With a season ticket, one concert of the season is essentially free because of the significant discount on season tickets," she said.

The assigned reserved seating chart will be located on the Hendersonville Website– www.hendersonvillesymphony.org. The chart represents the seating configuration in the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra's (HSO) Concert Hall at Blue Ridge Community College for reserved assigned seating for all Season Ticket holders. Please contact the Symphony office at 697-5884 for assistance with selecting your assigned reserved seating. HSO office staff are available Monday through Friday from 1-4 p.m. to take ticket orders.
