Investigators release identity of human remains found near Walmart

Investigators this week identified Leslie Cross Hall, a 69-year-old female, as the person whose skeletal remains were found earlier this month off Highlands Square Drive.

There are no findings to suggest foul play, according to a press release from the city.
Hendersonville Police Department officers began an investigation on Nov. 18 after human skeletal remains were located in a wooded area off the drive that leads to the Walmart Supercenter in town.
A medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death, the city said.
North Carolina’s State Bureau of Investigation is helping with the full recovery of the remains.
