King Apple parade entries open

Love a parade? Line up for the King Apple, the granddaddy of them all in these parts.

Applications to participate in the King Apple Parade, the Apple Festival-ending favorite of local folks, are available at the Apple Festival website, www.ncapplefestival.org, under the Events tab.
The festival has a number of different categories including commercial and non-profit entries and also has professional floats available for lease again this year. If you are interested in a professional float, please contact the office.
The 66th North Carolina Apple Festival will again conclude this year with the King Apple Parade, sponsored by Hunter Subaru. The Parade will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Labor Day, Sept. 3.
