Symphony board announces new members

The Hendersonville Symphony Board of Directors announced that seven new members were appointed at the July Board meeting. There are a total of 23 members on the board, and six paid staff that help guide the organization.

Bittle, CFSP, vice president of Shuler and Forest Lawn Funeral Homes; Christina Mary DeStefano, Henderson County public information officer; Cheryl Hagymassy, a performing musician with the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra, assistant conductor of the Youth Symphony and a music teacher; Lynn Killian Neill, development director for the Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy, a past president of the Hendersonville Symphony Board, and performing musician in the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra; Jack Osterberg, Realtor with Keller Williams; and, Ms. Bennie Santistevan, former president of the Hendersonville Symphony League.
The Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra is located at 228 6th Avenue East, between King and Grove Streets in the HomeTrust Bank Building. Office Manager Karen Yagerhofer is available Monday through Friday, 1 pm to 4 pm.
