WANTED: Pre-1994 Apple Festival T-shirts

Got an Apple Festival T-shirt from the early 1990s or before? If you're willing to part with it, you can get two free meals at Harry's & Piggy's.

The Thompson family, which for the past couple of weeks has displayed what may be the most complete collection of vintage T-shirts from the festival, is looking for the older ones. No one knows for sure when the commemorative T-shirts became a regular part of the festival, complete with a logo (and T-shirt) reveal and often hoots or hosannas. Elaine Thompson says the family is missing a a couple of editions from the mid-1990s and would like to obtain all of those from 1990 and older.

If you have one, visit Harry's & Piggy's and cash in. Or pig out, as the case may be. Cheeseburger. Barbecue sandwich. Brunswick Stew. No word on whether the offer includes an ice cream cone.
